Net Cutler is loved by both commercial and residential users for its ease-of use and low price. It is easy to install, which makes it popular among both home and commercial users.I decided to use netcut via an internet connection over my android phone, simply because I wanted it to work on the computer I use at work. I decided to use netcut with a laptop as I wanted to verify that the program worked on a notebook and not just my smartphone. Netcut allowed me to see how the firewall worked on my computer. This is important because there are some differences between them.After downloading and installing the netcut installer, I downloaded the free version and followed the onscreen instructions. I was directed by the screen to connect via usb to my computer and then activate it. I did so and the program started working immediately. After 10 minutes of successful operation with my android phone, I checked that the firewall was running on the host computer. The free version of the firewall allowed me to run a scan for viruses, block known threats and run a complete system scan. All of these functions enabled me to successfully protect my Android device.Another feature I love about netcut is its ability allow or deny certain content to flow to me while surfing the internet. This feature is great because it allows you to surf the internet on a slow Wi-Fi connection. This feature has been greatly improved since the last update to the arp protocol. It is nearly impossible to interrupt or stop traffic. While this feature will generally prevent viruses from passing through, I have had instances when it was able pass through and perform actions that may have disrupted my internet connection.Netcut comes with an app that allows me configure and manage my network. Netcut Manager is very easy to use. It allows me access my wireless password, to select the networks that I want to join, and to create the necessary connections to allow netcut to function. I have the option to create custom WEP networks and to manage them via the control panel. The software allows me, if required, to easily change my router passwords.Overall, eset Smart Security is a solid product. I haven't had any issues with it so far and plan to continue using it for quite some while. I use netcut to help keep track of my kids, and I've found it to be a great tool in that area. If you're looking for a way to keep track of your kids while they're online and need to access a secure area of the web, this may be a great option.
